Welcome to Harmony in Landscape!

Harmony in Landscape has been busy creating and maintaining gardens on the Northern Beaches of Sydney for over 25 years, primarily in the Avalon Beach, Palm Beach and Bayview areas. HIL’s senior horticulturist, Kelvin Carlson, is fully qualified and a member of the Australian Institute of Horticulture, and also the Australian Institute of Landscape Designers & Managers.

With the trend in recent years for busy people wishing to create their very own private "oasis", combined with the unique almost sub tropical micro climate of the northern beaches, HIL has been creating for clients tropical style gardens that create the feel of a "resort" in their very own properties.

Whilst specilising in the tropical style, we can create a range of styles to suit every taste. As we are in the grip of one of the worst droughts on record, and due to on going climate change, we are currently creating gardens that require a minimal amount of water once established . This holds true even for our "tropical style". The key is in the right choice of plant species, plants can look tropical but be water wise.

Whether its native gardens that attract birds and wildlife, tropical resort style lush gardens, or Californian style pebble and desert plant gardens, all are possible to create in Sydneys climate.
